Become a landmark in the European vaping sector – Create a network of skills and events – Build a shared communication platform to optimise penetration of the Asian market.
These are the goals of the European
Vaping Exhibition Network: the hub that unites the three top players in the
fairs & exhibitions sector in the world of vaping.
The Hall of
Vape
(Stuttgart, Hamburg), headed by Ira
Simeonidis, Patrick Bedué’s Vapexpo (Nantes, Paris, Madrid) for France and
Spain and, for Italy, Vapitaly
(Verona – Rome), under the leadership of Mosè
Giacomello.
E.V.E.N.T. was created also to meet the needs of companies that, despite their already healthy export sales, are keen to optimise their participation in national and international fairs in terms of image, communication and costs. Through the provision of training and advisory services, the new network will act as an exhibition trainer for vaping operators, providing one-stop access to the shared expertise of Vapitaly, The Hall of Vape and Vapexpo, while maintaining the distinctive connotations of individual events and local audiences.
With E.V.E.N.T., three business people
and three organisations on the European scene have entered into a partnership undertaking
to carve out a path of internationalisation for companies and help them promote
their business at the main European fairs and exhibitions.
Another objective of the E.V.E.N.T. network is to take a snapshot of the European vaping sector: facts and figures, consumption styles, trends and outlook.
“The
time has come to create an organised map of the European vaping sector –
according to Vapitaly president Mosè
Giacomello – Publishing key consumption data and trends online will allow
operators to optimise their strategies while also raising the profile of the
entire sector by giving it a face”.
Ira Simeonidis, The Hall of Vape:
“In 2018,
Germany has been the most requested target market within Europe, and it seems
to be as well in 2019: estimates say that there are about 4 million vapers in
Germany. “E.V.E.N.T. will offer their customers the opportunity to develop
business intelligently and purposefully within the European market. We will support
the companies best possible by helping them to find what they are searching
for. We see E.V.E.N.T. also as a very important tool to assist the vaping
associations within Europe. And last but not least we organizers of the trade
shows expect with E.V.E.N.T. to optimize/improve the quality of our trade
exhibitions”.
Patrick Bedué, Vapexpo:
“I am
very proud of how the French market is evolving: many buyers are approaching us
through the B2B channel. Our trade exhibitions welcome both consumers (80%) and
professionals (20%), and the number of consumers is growing since many people
switch to vaping due to the high cost of cigarettes. The approach our vaping
world thanks to retailers, that they get to know gradually. Companies
participating to E.V.E.N.T. will increase their business keeping contact with
vapers and vaping professionals throughout the year. I believe this is a
perfect way to do business”.
