Vapitaly 2025 is moving home. The international vaping and e-cig exhibition is moving to bolognafiere

October 21 2024

A new home for Vapitaly. Following eight editions held in Verona, marked by growth and development, Italy’s leading e-cig exhibition will be hosted in a new location, starting from 2025.

This move will take vaping aficionados to the splendid city of Bologna. So save the date (10 to 12 May of next year), mark Hall 18 of BolognaFiere on the calendar, and get ready to visit the capital of Italy’s Emilia-Romagna region.

This new development will take Vapitaly beyond Verona, broadening the scope of the event further in an exhibition centre of the calibre of BolognaFiere. The exhibition, a benchmark in Italy and worldwide for vaping enthusiasts and professional operators, will be setting new challenges and new targets for the sector, seeking to open up to an increasingly international market. The long weekend will aim to develop trade, offering the chance to discover what’s new on the market and foster professional and business growth.

“We’ve decided on this move for our exhibition after eight fabulous years in Verona, to introduce ourselves to new visitors”, explained Vapitaly president Mosè Giacomello. Vapitaly has become the leading Italian trade fair in the sector, as well as one of the most important at international level, and the new challenge we’ll be rising to in Bologna will undoubtedly be an opportunity for further growth, in an exhibition space spread over 18,000 square metres that hosts top national and international events and will offer the chance to take Vapitaly in an innovative new direction. We’re ready to captivate visitors with a new version of the event, while preserving its hallmark values”.

The format of the exhibition will remain unchanged. The first two days will be open to everyone, allowing consumers and aficionados to discover all the new developments and products on the market, while the third day will offer sector operators the opportunity to exchange experiences and views.

“We’re very pleased to be welcoming this leading event for the European vaping market”, said Antonio Bruzzone, CEO of BolognaFiere. “Once again, Bologna has demonstrated its appeal for trade fair organisers, thanks to the city’s central location and its large, efficient exhibition centre with an international vocation, close to the Old Town, the high-speed rail station and Marconi International Airport”.
